Maelybeth Young

Hi, I am Maelybeth Young, a highly motivated Master's of Science in Marketing graduate from the University of Tennessee. I aspire to a career in digital marketing that matches my enthusiasm and challenges me to reach higher goals. Serving others and being a part of something bigger than myself have always been consistent passions of mine. From graduate school to now, I have been able to sharpen my skills in digital media marketing and social media management through rigorous coursework and working as a Marketing Coordinator for a beauty collective out of Knoxville, TN. Through my undergraduate experience, I have had the opportunity to be involved in many organizations such as Greek Life and the Student Government Association, obtaining leadership positions that have prepared me to succeed in any work environment. Apart from my extracurriculars, I am involved in constant community work that teaches me the importance of professionalism and communication. My drive to make a positive impact inspired me to organize my efforts, becoming the founder of Gather, a nonprofit, and I Have A Voice Too, a leadership-focused platform. Admiring a solid work ethic, I am an advocate for stepping outside of your comfort zone, giving your all, and taking pride in your success, as well as your failures, because they are evidence of effort. I thrive in environments that provide me the opportunity to learn, grow, be creative, and practice critical thinking. I am always seeking opportunities that foster growth and align with these characteristics.
